Reading the News and Being Reminded Why He Loves President Obama.
You may or may not know that I worked for the Obama Presidential campaign in Missouri last year. I walked many miles, knocked on lots of doors, and would talk to anybody in person who wanted to have a conversation about him. (I didn’t work the phones very much. I would rather walk around in the heat, cold and rain; Anything but phone banks.) Anyway…..
Every morning I check the World and U.S. news online. This morning I saw a rather silly story about the President’s smoking habit. Are you kidding me, you’re busting his chops over the occasional cigarette?! The man’s got a lot on his plate, let’s cut him some slack on the little stuff. I think Mrs. Obama will keep him inline about smoking. Then I stumbled on these two links that affirmed in me many of the reasons I love this man. Here are the links. Did you read the even more ridiculous PETA response to Pres. Obama killing a fly that was buzzing around his face during an interview? They sent him a contraption to "catch the fly so he could release it instead of kill it." What's even worse is that the media reported this NONSENSE. *shaking head*
The First Family is one of THE BEST examples of class and intelligence that the White House has seen in a long time. I love the fact that the Rebooblicans and lower thinking ofays can't stand it! Yep, that's what I called them OFAYS!

The PETA thing even made the news here. It was a dang fly! OH and you should see this REALLY COOL bug zapper I have. Think about a traditional bug zapper you keep outside, but this one is shape like a small tennis racket. I is cheap entertainment. Interactive Bug Zapping. Say it with me, AWESOME!
